序數(Ordinal Numbers)

序數(ordinal numbers)是一群代表順序的字，用「數字」(cardinal number)演變而來。

序數的用法通常是在前面加the。

Edison is the first. à Edison是第一名.

Gwendolyn is the second. à Gwendolyn是第二名.

Justin is the third. à Justine是第三名.

Daisy is the fourth. à Daisy是第四名.

Wrinkle is the fifth. à Wrinkle是第五名.

Ps. 因為一共五個人在比賽, Wrinkle得了第五名, 其實就是最後一名.

所以也可以說: Wrinkle is the last.
